IB Testing and Fees
Granada High School is committed to providing students with access to rigorous IB coursework and supporting their success in the International Baccalaureate Programme. Students enrolled in IB courses are expected to complete all required IB assessments, including Internal Assessments (IAs), and participate in the corresponding IB examinations.
IB examinations are administered only during the official IB exam session, and the International Baccalaureate Organization does not offer alternate testing dates except in cases of approved circumstances, such as severe illness or other genuine emergencies. Vacations, family commitments, graduations, athletic events, and other non-emergency situations do not qualify for alternative testing arrangements.
Students who register for an IB examination are responsible for the associated exam fee of $140 per course. Students who do not attend their scheduled examination for a non-approved reason, or who are unable to test due to incomplete required Internal Assessment components, will still be responsible for the examination fee.
If you are enrolled in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, please contact the IB Coordinator to discuss available options for exam fee assistance or discounts.
