Academic Recognition:
Students who earn a 3.7 GPA or higher, for two consecutive semesters, will receive an Academic Block letter. Stars will be given at 3, 5 and 7 consecutive semesters of a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Any break in sequence automatically disqualifies the student from earning the subsequent award and the semester count will reset back to zero. Awards are distributed once a year in February.
Students will be notified via school email on February 9, 2026 if they qualified for an Academic Block or Academic Star. Please ask your student if they received an email.
Blocks/Stars for the 25-26 school year will be distributed to students on the following days:
- Seniors: February 18 during Access in the Small Gym
- Juniors /Sophomores: February 19 during Access in the Student Union
- Freshman students do not qualify until February of their Sophomore year.
